Here it is.... my new website! Many thanks to the 'cool cats' at DD Productions for 'making the show go.' Check it all out and let me know what you think - I'll dig the feedback. Let’s start with some of the fantastic highlights from last year. There were many wonderful venues I had the privilege of performing at in 2008. Dr. John and the Lower 911 was one of the highlights. Our west coast tour with Dr. John included some outta sight festivals.... We were featured at the 30th anniversary Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, the Britt Festival in Southern Oregon, Oregon Zoo Ampitheatre in Portland, and back home again in Seattle at the Chateau St. Michelle Winery. With Lloyd Jones Struggle and Zen Blues we played from Victoria B.C. Music Festival, to the beautiful San Juan Theater at Friday Harbor, the Sun Banks and Mt. Baker Blues Festivals, and on and on... I was also grateful to be part of a show recorded live at Jazz Alley in Seattle – which was a concert that benefited Habitat for Humanity (for the victims of Hurricane Katrina). Jeremy Ryan assembled a cast of some of N’AWLINS finest musicians, which included Dr. John’s Lower 911 rhythm section and Harry Connick Jr.’s featured soloists. There were a slew of world class artists that I had the opportunity to work with... Dr. John and the lower 911, Zen Blues w/ the Bad Boise Horns, Lloyd Jones Struggle, and many other talented artists. Some of the top drawer players that I've been performing with include: Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Zen Blues), Ben Smith (Heart), Ronnie Foster (George Benson, Grant Green), Terry Townson (Delbert McClinton, Colin James), Leroy Jones (Harry Connick Jr.), Tim Scott (Zen Blues, Tower of Power), John March (Sting, Zen Blues), John Fohl (Dr. John), Craig Klein (Harry Connick Jr., Bonearama), and Herman ‘Roscoe’ Ernest III (Dr. John). - Robbie P.S.
